MRTN BRND Studio is a Calgary-based creative studio built on a simple notion: thoughtful work is the only kind worth delivering.
We’re strategists at heart who also know how to make things look exceptional (or cool af, depends on what you’re going for but we’ll figure it out).
Most creative work isn’t bad because someone made ugly things. It’s ineffective because nobody stopped to think about it first.
We started MRTN BRND because we watched too many brands get dragged along a lengthy creative process, then handed a folder of files with no explanation of why any of it was made or how to effectively use it.
We work with founders, growing teams, and really anyone who’s serious about how they want to show up. The industries change, but the problem is almost always the same: a vague brand, unclear messaging, and a gap between who you actually are and how you’re currently showing up in the world.
That’s where we come in (and close the gap).
Meet Meg

Meg is the invisible string between brand, strategy, and the work that actually gets made. She’s worked inside the big corporate machine, the unicorn-status startup, and the two-man marketing team. She knows how those worlds operate and what each one actually needs.
She’s a creative with real opinions. She asks the questions some skip, sits with the uncomfortable answers, and builds the kind of work that holds up under scrutiny — because she’s already put it through the wringer herself.
Her approach is simple: start with a solid strategy, remove the noise, make every decision deliberately. She’ll tell you exactly why something was made the way it was. And if it’s not right, she’ll say that too.

Marc is the creative glue that connects insight with impact. A designer who thinks strategically which means what he makes doesn’t just look nice, it does something.
He distills complexity into clarity across brand identity, web, and digital. Where Meg builds the thinking. Marc makes the thing. Between them, nothing gets handed off — it gets considered from every angle and collaborated on until it’s right.
